A prize worth buying

Patek Philippe watches, Private Planes and Platinum Blondes; boys will have their toys. A man’s success is not only dictated by the knowledge he possesses, position held within his company or the costly objects he is able to acquire but is sometimes exemplified through the woman in which he is associated with. This is a particular kind of man that believes that having a wife that resembles a doll is an investment worth making and because of this he is willing to use his Black Amex card to finance any shopping spree, Botox injection, or boob job needed to maintain his wife’s status as a Trophy Wife. As these men get older and more successful their wives become trimmer and tanner. This wasteful living is portrayed in December 2009 Harper’s Bazaar editorial “Trophy Wife”. The shriveled sponsor a.k.a “the husband” is played by actor George Hamilton and his “Plastic Barbie” played by model Amber Heard.
